First post of Christmas

This year I would like to do Twelve Blog Posts of Christmas. Here is the first one:

December 1st we set up our Christmas decorations. Our tree was given to me by a roommate, along with all of the ornaments. The poor tree has seen better days, as about 5 branches completely broke off while we were setting it up. We had to stick it in a corner, so you couldn't see the side with broken branches. (we used them to make the rest of the tree look fuller). The good thing is we wont have to store it all year again (as it is heading to the trash shortly after christmas) and E can destroy it if she wants. 

When E woke up this morning, her Dad turned on the lights, and she was fascinated with it. All of the non-breakable ornaments are on the lower branches so she can play with it if she wants.

Our home feels "Christmasy" and cozy. I love celebrating the birth of the Saviour.
