Happy Valentines Day!
I know that a lot of people think Valentines day is kinda dumb, and is just a way for flower shops and chocolate factories to make more money... but seriously. A holiday based on love? I'll take any excuse to celebrate love.
My husband spoiled me this year. Last night he snuck out to the store to get me a clip bored for clinical and surprised me with flowers. I told him not to get me flowers for valentines day, because they are always so expensive, but he said he managed to be cheap. Cheap or not, I love the flowers!
Tonight we had a picnic in our living room. He snuck off again and ran and got sandwiches and timbits and set up a blanket and snacks for our date. (Last year he did a similar thing). It was so fun!
I made Jordan a deck of cards with things I love about him written on each card. I decorated the box, and each card with red and pink paper.
I hope you had a good valentines day, whether celebrated or not. Just remember that its about loving, and you don't need to be fancy to love someone.
