Worthless, or not.

You never stop running;
Never slow down.

You’ve learned that silence

Is the screeching of sound.

The days keep changing,

But it all
bleeds to one,

As you’ve found that sleep

Only wastes time.

The stress you feel

Just means your alive.

That shortness of breath

Helps you survive.

So you move through the world

Blind to it’s beauty,

For you’ve learned to perceive things as worthless

Unless they are moving.
-Carissa M. Wyles
Im back in the City, back at school. Back to the noise, the rush, the slush, the smell. Don't get me wrong, its not a horrible place to be. I have chosen to be here. Sometimes I feel like this poem. And it makes me think of this....

.. home. The Complete Opposite of this poem. So... This is my preferred version of it;

Just stop running;
Please slow down.

You’ve learned that silence

Is the essence of sound.

The days keep changing,

But it all
bleeds to one,
If you don't stop;
and look around.

 You’ve found that sleep

Only wastes time.

The enjoyment you feel

Just means your alive.

That deepness of breath

Helps you survive.

So you move through the world

Aware of it’s beauty,

For you’ve learned to perceive things as great
Because they aren't moving.
