Dad had a holiday from work yesterday, so we took advantage of the sun and our city passes and headed to Fort Edmonton with cousins. Usually there is a lot going on the opening weekend of the park, but we seemed to miss just about everything keeping our kids entertained. We went on a few rides, did some mini golf, and then ate lunch at the park. We hardly looked at any of the historic buildings, and didn't even make it to the last street or the fort. But we had a fantastic time and we can always come back later in the summer.

We ended the day with some errands and a wiener roast. It's so fun for my kids to have cousins their age to play with. Here is a photo of my adorable niece.
