-Cookie Decorating
E stayed interested for about an hour piling icing on cookies, and occasionally taking a bite out of them.
-Setting up the Christmas tree
E helped Dad put on the ornaments. She had made some with her friend last week and thought it was so fun to put them on the tree.
-Broken Collar Bone
Explanation: In the middle of the night, E fell out of bed and started crying. (For the first time after sleeping in a bed for a month). Jordan got up and went to get her. She seemed fairly upset, but calmed down fairly quickly and came to bed with us. She started crying a few more times, but would fall back to sleep and be fine. In the morning we could tell something was wrong because every time she tried to get up on her own she would scream. We finaly pinpointed that the pain was coming from her right shoulder. Jordan gave her a priesthood blessing to help her to deal with the pain and to be brave. It calmed her right down and Jordan took her to the emergency room. After an Xray it was apparent that her collar bone had a clean break. Poor little girl. She cried before they did the Xray, but other than that she tried super hard to be happy and didn't even cry when they were feeling her shoulder. There hasn't been much we can do except give her pain medication and keep her arm immobilized sometimes. It is still very tender, but she has been in very good spirits considering having a broken bone.
So that was our weekend.
