Today has been a rainy day filled with visits from friends. We spent the whole day indoors watching the rain come down, making muffins, and playing with friends and cousins. A little before bedtime we headed out after a big rainfall to splash in the puddles. E loved to touch all of the water, and run through the puddles. The sun was shining, and the air smelled fresh (which doesn't happen often around here). We hurried inside when the drops began to fall again. E's hands were cold so she didn't protest.
