Birthdays are so fun- even when you aren't a kid anymore. E was so excited that it was Dad's birthday and sang the birthday song multiple times all day. We met up with Dad for lunch at work, and got a tour of his office. The kids 'helped' me pick out a remote control truck for a gift, and helped me wrap it in ensign magazine pages- since we had no wrapping paper. Jordan was so excited to see he got a 'fun' gift, rather than something that's on our need to buy list. We sang Happy Birthday- again- and dug into some hazelnut tort. Yum. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. T was in cake heaven, and was taken directly to the bath after.
