This weekend the whole Anderson gang got together to celebrate the 40th anniversary of my wonderful In-laws We were all sad that Dick (Jordan's Dad) wasn't there in person to celebrate with us, but we all knew that he was close by joining in the celebration of the past 40 years, and the rest of eternity. All of us (Grandma Anderson, 6 children, 6 spouses and 13.5 grandchildren) were together, and had a wonderful time. We had a photographer come and take some group and family photos to document the occasion. The weekend was a fun time for all, including lots of food, playing "Auntie I over", staying up late, night games, and watching family videos.

The Anniversary party took place at the senior center in Magrath. We enjoyed a delicious meal, and a heartwarming, hilarious, cute program. It was so fun learning more about Jordans family and the marriage of my in-laws. Jordan and I sang the song "The River". The grandchildren did a few numbers for Grandma, and a few of the adults did some numbers too; including a choreographed Abba song, a cute reading, a message about"Lessons learned from Mom and Dad about Love", and a slide show of family pictures.
Baby girl was sure spoiled by Grandma, cousins, and Aunties. She loved every minute of it. I feel so blessed to be part of such a wonderful family. I couldn't have asked for anyone better. Love you Mom and Dad Anderson! Happy 40 years, and here's to the rest of them!
